Oscar and I went to Wickenburg with Sheryl a while back, to add to our portfolios. I’m sure you’ll agree that we got some really fun images, and Sheryl’s a delight to work with. You can see the whole set on my website. You can also see more of Sheryl’s work on Model Mayhem.
Those who know me know I cannot resist a ghost town, or an old decaying building. Goldfield Ghost Town in Apache Junction is my frequent fix, being both relatively local and free to get into; there are businesses there that I patronize, of course — the fantastic ice cream parlor, especially. Yum!
The place is crammed with cool rusty stuff, and I cannot possibly ever get enough of wandering through and photographing it. With a little stop out at Bartlett Lake, where I used to waterski back in the Bronze Age when I was in high school, we took a short sojourn in Goldfield.
